Now hiring: Barista (+ special duties) - Part time, permanent
Fast paced coffee business looking for a reliable, hands on, enthusiastic team player for our Retail Cafe and assisting in our packaging area.
Qualifications:
- 2 years barista experience preferred.
- Proficient on a computer; familiar with software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, POS systems.
- Barista training and coffee knowledge
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and special events as needed.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
- Must have effective problem solving/decision making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and able to work in a team environment with other staff
Duties:
- Prepare quality specialty drinks and deliver excellent customer service.
Complete daily duties in a timely manner. - Ensure that the cleanliness in café is maintained according to sanitation and cleaning standards.
- Obtain customer feedback and make appropriate business decisions to meet customer needs.
- Communicate clearly with all coworkers to ensure effective cafe operations.
- Advise manager of inventory of supplies and local products sold in the cafe
- Participate in social media
- Coordinate specialized customer orders
- Prepare and package coffee orders
- Clean in our packaging area

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

Now hiring: Customer Service Representative - Full time
Fast paced coffee company looking for a reliable, enthusiastic team player to join our customer service team.
Qualifications:
- Applicant should excel in telephone manners, be personable, professionally presentable, efficient, task oriented, creative and excel in people skills.
- Computer efficiency required. Previous experience with Quickbooks financial system an asset.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Should be proficient in basic math, problem solving and critical thinking.
- Ability to multi task.
Duties:
- Duties include but are not limited to: answering the phone, calling and /or emailing customers for orders, processing customer orders, relaying messages, filing, grinding and packaging late customer coffee orders, taking café orders and assisting café staff when required. Other duties as assigned.
