In 2015 Baden Coffee Company began an exciting new initiative: sourcing, selecting and buying coffee directly from farmers. Our goal was to develop a PIPELINE direct to Baden for specialty coffee. Since then, we have had several opportunities to visit independent coffee farmers and develop relationships with the farmer and their communities.
Buying coffee directly from the producers gives us greater appreciation for the effort farmers go through to develop their unique coffees. All coffee bearing the PIPELINE mark has been sourced while always maintaining quality, sustainability, social awareness, community development, equality and most importantly respect. We are very excited and proud of our direct trade initiative and where this journey will continue to take us.
